True particle modelling in HSC

True particle modelling in HSC

Postby Edson on Thu Oct 22, 2009 2:28 am

I am having troubles running true particle models in HSC. I am trying to simulate a flotation circuit , using MLA feed data for the ore I am floating. The problems are,

1) It takes quite a while to run the unit wizards in HSC on avarage two hours a unit.

2) After loading the models the Input sheet has error values for the solids SG.

3)Some of the output sheets after running the simulation show #Ref! in the output stream particle rows. This mostly happens with the Ball mill model, using RRSB model. For thickner as well the formulas for the underflow mass volume and rate disappear after running the simulation.

I have about 3700 particles and nine size fractions. Any help on this?
